Greg Levinson - Chief Investment Officer/President

Greg is the Managing Member of Schooner Investment Group. His responsibilities include portfolio management, as well as overall business strategy and development. Greg was formerly a Senior Portfolio Manager for a multi-billion dollar Hedge Fund where he was the head of global convertible and equity-linked trading. Previously he was the founder and CIO of Polaris Advisors LP, an equity-linked market neutral manager specializing in convertible arbitrage, equity, and derivative strategies. Prior to forming Polaris he was a Managing Director and the Head Trader of convertible arbitrage at BNP/Cooper Neff where he led the U.S. convertibles team. His responsibilities included oversight of all group operations and strategy development. Prior to becoming Managing Director, he was Senior Vice President of Trading and the head trader for Banque Nationale de Paris' ("BNP") proprietary convertibles trading group. Greg is a graduate of The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics/Finance.
Alec Petro - Sr. Partner/Portfolio Manager
Alec Petro is a Senior Partner and Portfolio Manager at Schooner. He began trading in the financial derivatives marketplace starting in 1985 at O’Connor & Associates in Chicago, where he co-managed the global foreign exchange derivative trading. In 1988, Mr. Petro moved to Cooper/Neff and Associates and became the fifth partner in 1990.He headed the global foreign exchange and derivative business joint venture with Mitsui Trust of Tokyo from 1989-1994 and held the same position for BNP in Paris from 1995-1997. Mr. Petro moved back to BNP/Cooper Neff’s Radnor, PA headquarters in 1998 to manage numerous hedge fund projects, including real estate, foreign exchange and U.S. equities. In late 1998, Mr. Petro retired from the Cooper/Neff partnership to found Mercator Asset Management in Chicago, an alternative asset management group specializing in quantitative and derivative fund management. He moved to Boston, and in 2002 he founded Fort Hill Capital Management, a quantitative hedge fund specializing in equity derivatives whose models and strategies became the building blocks for Bay Hill Capital Management. In 2005, Mr. Petro and Fort Hill Capital were co-founders of Absolute Investment Advisors, a $4 bn family of Absolute Return Mutual funds. He received his B.A. from Boston College and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
Tony Fusco - Managing Director Trading

Tony is the Senior Trader for Schooner Investment Group. Tony is a graduate of The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics/Finance. He has a wealth of industry knowledge, previous experience includes; convertible arbitrage trader for multi-billion dollar multi-strategy hedge fund, and US equity derivatives trader at BNP/Cooper Neff. Additionally, Tony was head of convertible trading for Polaris Advisors LP, an equity-linked market neutral manager specializing in convertible arbitrage, equity, and derivative strategies.
Jeremy McCann - Chief Operating Officer

Jeremy is the Chief Operating officer for Schooner Investment Group. He graduated with a B.S. in Finance from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. In addition to operations Jeremy is the Chief Compliance Officer, and responsible for implementing and administering the firm's SEC-mandated compliance policies and procedures. Previous to handling operations at Schooner Jeremy was Director of Operations for cbAlley, Inc (a financial software development company), Operations Manager at Polaris Advisors LP, and a fund accountant in the hedge fund administration division at SEI Investments.
Janielle Lucas - Client Relationship Manager

Janielle is the Relationship Manager and client liaison for the firm's RIA clients. Her goal is to provide unparalleled customer support, and maintain a strong link between our RIA clients and firm management. Her responsibilities include event coordination, schedule management, and document preparation for client presentations. Ms. Lucas has prior marketing experience for several Mid-Atlantic firms. She is a 2004 graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelors in Psychology.
Brian Chen - Director of Research/Portfolio ManagerDr. Chen is head of Schooner’s Research and Quantitative Strategies. and holds the same position for Schooner’s research affiliates, Bay Hill Capital, and Fort Hill Capital, where Dr. Chen applied his signal processing expertise to build the quantitative forecasting and pricing models for volatility arbitrage strategies. His experience in quantitative trading strategies spans the spectrum from development of stand-alone, single strategies to management of multi-strategy, multi-manager portfolios. Prior, Dr. Chen co-founded and served as Chief Scientist and Vice President of Technology of Chinook Communications, a venture-financed, technology company developing sophisticated signal processing technologies. He has also been a Member of Technical Staff--Level 1 and Consultant for Lucent Technologies Bell Laboratories. Dr. Chen received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and computer science, with a concentration in signal processing, and a minor in finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). As well he holds a S.M. degree in electrical engineering from MIT, and the B.S.E. degree (summa cum laude) in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan. He is an inventor on 14 issued patents and has received the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship.
